There is a PINHOLE OF LIGHT coming through my Roman Shade

When Blackout Lining is used, sometimes there is a pinhole of light that will come through your roman shade.

These holes cannot be avoided. Why? Because the back of the blackout lining is plastic. When sewing on the rings, we have to go through the layers of fabric to catch the front of the roman shade. If we don't catch the front of the shade, then the roman will not draw correctly. When sewing on the rings, as we pierce the blackout, we make a tear in the plastic backing, and a hole cannot be avoided.

In most cases, these pinholes will not be noticed, because in the daytime, the roman will be drawn, and at night when the shade is down, there will be no light coming through.

However, if you have a pinhole in your roman, and it's driving you nuts, we have a solution.

SOLUTION: You need a Q-tip and some Baby Powder. Just smear some powder, on the backside of the roman, into the hole, which will stop the light from coming through. Or, a small piece of white masking tape (Amazon) will also stop the light.
